The Profit Review is an easy and quick way to check how much Profit you have made in the last six weeks by customer segment. The Profit Review uses RFM Analysis to rank your customers retroactively as of six weeks ago, and groups them by N-tile. It then looks at your sales transactions for the past six weeks, and uses them to calculate what your Orders and Gross Sales have been.
The Profit Review is no substitute for a detailed P/L Report. But it is invaluable in helping you to see where your Profits are coming from. Most importantly, you can use the Profit Review to see where your Breakeven Point was. If the Profit Review has been accurate in segmenting customers by profit for the last six weeks, the the Profit Projection will be accurate in segmenting customers by profit for the next six weeks.
